Dr. Lee is a board-certified Ophthalmologist who is a fellowship-trained Glaucoma Specialist and Cataract Surgeon. He graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in civil engineering. He then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he graduated medical school with honors as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed a residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, followed by a Glaucoma Fellowship also at UT Southwestern. As an experienced Glaucoma specialist, he offers the full spectrum of Glaucoma care from eyedrops to lasers to surgery. He especially enjoys forming longitudinal relationships with his Glaucoma patients and helping personalize each patient's treatment plan. As a Cataract surgeon, he has extensive experience with both routine and complex cataract surgery. Dr. Lee has a passion for providing excellent clinical care in addition to teaching the next generation of Ophthalmologists. He has been the recipient of several residency teaching awards including the Outstanding Faculty Award at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and the Chief's Award for Resident Education at the Baylor Scott & White Eye Institute in Temple. Outside of work, he has a passion for spending time with his wife, his four children, and leading Bible-based recovery ministry.
